 Interview with a 2nd grade

Hi! Can you tell us what you like most about Dhora Leka School?

 Student
“I love Dhora Leka because it feels like a second home! Everyone is so kind, and my classroom is full of drawings, books, and happy faces. I feel safe and excited every morning when I come to school.”

What’s your favorite subject at school?

 Student
“I really love Reading and Art. In Reading, we get to discover new stories and imagine adventures. And in Art, we make colorful paintings. Last week, I painted a big rainbow and my teacher hung it up on the wall!”

What’s a fun memory you have from this school year?

 Student
“Definitely the Spring Festival! We all wore bright costumes, danced, and sang songs. I got to be a butterfly and we made a big poster about protecting nature. It was so much fun!”

How do your teachers make learning fun?

 Student
“My teacher tells funny stories to explain lessons, and we play little games to help us remember things. She always cheers for us when we do our best, and that makes me feel proud.”

What do you want to be when you grow up? Do you think Dhora Leka is helping you?

 Student
“I want to be a doctor! Dhora Leka is helping me because I’m learning to read carefully, write neatly, and work with my friends. My teacher always says that if we believe in ourselves, we can do anything.”

What would you say to a new student who is thinking about coming to Dhora Leka?

 Student
“I would tell them that they will love it here! You make friends fast, you learn a lot, and the teachers are very kind. It’s a happy place to be.”

Last question—what is your favorite thing about Dhora Leka School?

 Student
“My favorite thing is that we are all like one big family. Everyone helps each other, and every day feels special!”
