Interview with an alumni
–What do you think makes Dhora Leka School special compared to other schools?
Alumni
“The sense of community, without a doubt. Every student felt seen and valued. It wasn’t just about grades — it was about growing as a person. We celebrated creativity, culture, sports, and academics equally. Plus, the commitment to arts and digital learning set us apart even back then.”

–Were there any teachers or moments that particularly impacted you?
Alumni :
“Absolutely. My science teacher, Mrs. Kodra, sparked my love for biology, which led me to pursue medicine. But even beyond academics, she taught us perseverance and empathy. Also, participating in the annual storytelling festival was unforgettable. Standing on that stage helped me believe in my voice.”
–How did Dhora Leka School prepare you for your future studies and career?
Alumni :
“It taught me discipline and curiosity. We were encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and work collaboratively. These skills became vital when I entered university. Moreover, the school’s focus on languages gave me a head start — I was able to study abroad thanks to my English proficiency.”
–If you could give current students at Dhora Leka one piece of advice, what would it be?
Alumni :
“Treasure every moment and opportunity. Don’t be afraid to dream boldly. Your teachers and your school are laying the foundation for incredible possibilities — trust them, and trust yourselves. The world needs your ideas, your kindness, and your courage.”

“Dhora Leka is where my story truly began. It’s a place of hope, growth, and endless inspiration. No matter where life takes me, I’ll always carry a piece of Dhora Leka in my heart.”
